Following our on-farm harvest in late autumn, we flesh and cure the hides before sending them to a 100% woman-run tannery that uses non-toxic and eco-friendly traditional bark-tanning methods. In addition to being free of nasty chemicals, our sheepskins are hypoallergenic, totally luxurious, and would make for a beautiful and meaningful heirloom textile for yourself or someone you love. Some of the hides have small butcher holes in the leather; these are not noticeable through the fiber and do not compromise the integrity of the sheepskins.
